It was one of the resolutions.
There was something fantastical about it, and this time Ryoko made the fantasy a reality.
I had been eyeing the Tokyo Sakura Kimono Rental Shop for a while, and I got a kimono, hair styling, and even Sakura decorations for my hair. As I walked out, Ryoko must have seen my expression.
lol
Ryoko:
"Yeah.. your dream just came true."
Thankful to Ryoko for choosing the perfect kimono, the beautiful colored obi, and the hair accessories that suited me so well~~
Ryoko lives near JR Tamachi Station, so to easily get to Asakusa Station where the Sakura shop is located, she departed from Mita Station.
While riding the train for a while, Ryoko's expression suddenly became strange.
She got up and checked the route map.
????????
Whoa, we got on the wrong train...
lol Ryoko was flustered
lol
Yep, it happened.
Eventually, we called Sakura and said,
Sumimasen (Excuse me)... we're going to be lateㅜㅜ
We ended up calling them twice.
Ryoko uses "Sumimasen" and "Daijoubu desu ka" (Is it okay?) a lot~.
I realized this time that Japanese people really do use "Sumimasen" a lot...
Even when I came out of the restroom and there was someone waiting in line behind me, she said "Sumimasen".
Exit A1 of Asakusa Station.
Arrived at Asakusa Station (Asakusa)~ Exit A1 and
cross to the brown building on the far left and turn left.
And why is the weather so good?
It seems like I'm destined to wear a kimono today.
Did we walk a block or two?
Sakura is on the right, if you enter this alley, it's in the building on the left.
Oh yeah.. I actually took a picture of this 4th-floor sign that I've only seen in cafe reviews, lol.
It was smaller than I expected, but oh, the kimono is really pretty.
Maybe it's because I had a fantasy about it, lol.
When choosing a kimono, Ryoko chose just two, and
she chose only the pretty ones, perfectly!
The obi is so pretty too.
As expected of Ryoko with her great color sense, she chose a beautiful pink one.
Ryoko's chosen kimono was also very pretty.
They say you can't wear a kimono alone.
Ryoko without tights~~
Ryokoㅜㅜ The obi and kimono are so pretty.
Ryoko also liked this photo, lol.
This is the one in front of us, but why is it so pretty?
The color scheme is really my style.
Sorry for taking a sneaky photo, but it's just too pretty.
While sitting down to get my hair done,
I looked in the mirror and thought,
I chose well, I'm glad I went with black, lol.
Please put some padding in the front of my hair to make me look taller~~
The hairstylist laughed a lot, lol.
In my opinion, Koreans living in Japan have a certain characteristic.
Their hair, clothing style, and makeup style look Japanese, truly.
Their Korean is slightly awkward.
But they do well, lol.
I was surprised because the person who sat next to me on the plane who had lived in Japan for 26 years was similar to this person.
The hair was an extra 500 yen, but of course, I got it.
Pretty pretty
Ryoko lol, her back looks cool, and the weather is so nice.
But we were both so hungry.
Yeah, did we party a bit too hard yesterday?? lol
At Shimbashi Station.
We were craving ramen or soba, but since we drank yesterday, let's eat ramen!
It's a ramen shop where you can order from a machine.
We pressed the spicy ramen button twice~ Ah, this place was delicious.
The photo only shows the menu.
It's in the basement on the left side of the path to Sensoji Temple in Asakusa!
To prepare for the photos we'd be taking later (in case my stomach got bigger), I sadly left a little bit of the noodles behind.
It didn't look very spicy, but it got spicier towards the end.
We started walking again with quick steps.
Whoa!!! The one I've only seen in photos!!
Kaminarimon, where everyone was wearing kimonos!!
Took a picture from afar.
Took a back shot too.
Took one from below too.
Took one as soon as we went inside.
February 11th was a national holiday, apparently~ So there were Japanese flags lined up. We were lucky!
There's a place to make wishes up there, so we waited in line to go up.
We threw coins and made wishes~.
Oh yeah!! We drew fortunes too!!
Ryoko said she wouldn't do it because she kept getting bad luck when she drew them, lol.
We went to the left, wafted the smoke over our faces, and made another wish.
But is it just me, or when I'm blowing out candles on cakes or doing things like this, I don't really think about anything?
Ryoko takes really good pictures, lol.
She never once complained and took a million pictures, truly.
So we took another picture.
lol
One on the left side too.
A selfie too.
Ahh, the colors are so pretty.
But... ugh, I'm tired now.
They say wearing a kimono is originally tiring.
I was going to buy some souvenirs and stuff,
but I couldn't walk anymore.
When I was looking at kimono reviews before, people said that if you bring band-aids and put them between your big toes, it won't be tiring, so I brought some band-aids,
but of course, I forgot about them, lol.
But walking wasn't uncomfortable or tiring at all.
Maybe the shoe size was just right.
Ah, I want to set this as my KakaoTalk profile picture...
But the Wi-Fi isn't workingㅜㅜ It's really bad.
Mom would love it if I sent her a picture...
After walking around for a while, I lost my energy.
Shall we go back?????
Our next destination is Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku :-)
But I'm already really tired... lol.
