✔️What went well

I decided to get married at the Seocho Office.

When I decided to get married this year and looked into in-house weddings, it was already too late, and most of the good times were already booked. There were some slots available for Sunday at 5 pm in April, but it was inconvenient for those from the provinces to come up, so I couldn't choose it. So I was debating whether to proceed with a 2025 wedding or do it at an external hall, and I decided to take a chance on the remaining wedding halls.

And Thank God, thankfully, I got a 1 p.m. slot through the remaining wedding hall.

✔️Advantages

• Save money with reasonable costs
• Located near Gangnam Station Exit 8 on Line 2/Shinbundang Line
• Free parking for 400 cars for 3 hours (almost impossible size for wedding halls in Gangnam, Seoul)
• Seating capacity for up to 240 people (up to 600 people including standing)

✔️Disadvantages

• Indelible auditorium-like feel (It's possible if you're like me and don't have any wedding fantasies. My junior: I went there... and it's really...?)
• Complexity of the reception restaurant (internal and external). No buffet

-> Because of this restaurant issue, many couples choose Samsung Engineering or Samsung Finance Training Center instead. And this is the reason why you need to get a consultation as soon as possible!!!!! You can only contract a reception restaurant after a face-to-face consultation and your wedding number is issued. Therefore, it's recommended to book the earliest available consultation time in the morning.

-> If you're getting married at 3 p.m. and a couple in the 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. slot has already booked the in-house restaurant (Risan or Mad for Garlic), I can't do it -_-

When proceeding with a Samsung wedding like the Seocho Office, the following items must be carried out through the partner companies here. The manager who gave us the consultation wrote down the names of the contracted companies, so refer to them (Sdeume + wedding photography)

We already finished the Sdeume and wedding photography contracts at the Samsung Wedding Fair, so we had to take care of additional costs and the reception restaurant.

Everything is good, but the restaurant is the most urgent issue!!!!!!!!!

Samsung Electronics Seocho Office Reception Restaurant

✔️ Reception Types

This is one of the drawbacks, but the restaurants are inside and outside the building, so they are divided according to the reservation status of other wedding times and the number of guests. There are only 5 choices.

The restaurant is also the most important factor for guests, so many people reportedly choose not to get married at the Seocho Office because of this drawback.

First of all, there is no buffet, and there is Korean, Chinese, Western, and Japanese food.

• Western: Mad for Garlic (inside)

Only Akasaka had a single course (assorted sashimi, sushi, sashimi salad, tempura, spicy fish soup, rice bowl) and Mad for Garlic had 3 courses, while other places had 2 courses.

• Inside the building restaurants: 3 hours
• Outside the building restaurants: 2 hours

✔️ Reception Company Contract Method

A face-to-face consultation with the Marriage Assistance Room is required to contract!

(For reference, a wedding number for visiting the fair and contracting Sdeume is available in advance)

✅ Face-to-face consultation -> Wedding number on business card -> Contract in advance by phone or visit -> 500,000 won deposit payment for completion

✔️ Precautions

• Phone or verbal contracts are invalid, so visit in person! Contract in writing!
• Only contracts with partner companies are possible
• Food and beverages cannot be brought into the reception venue
• Beverages and alcohol are not included in the bill discount

​

✔️ Reception Tips

• Prepare additional food at 20% of the contracted number of people. Estimate the number of people who will actually come to the wedding to watch the ceremony and eat, and carefully consider whether to contract only 1 restaurant or use 2 restaurants at the same time.
• Book the reception right after the face-to-face consultation (I've seen reviews saying that the previous wedding couple booked Risan 10 minutes before arrival, so they couldn't have it. How frustrating would that be)
• You have to prepare the tickets yourself, so it's a good idea to get free tickets by proceeding with a place that offers invitation discounts among the Marriage Assistance Room benefits.
• The 500,000 won deposit is also subject to the bill discount, so pay with your Samsung card that you have already registered.
