I've tried hopping tours with Korean agencies, but other than slightly better facilities and a slide, there wasn't much difference, so I recommend local hopping tours.
Why?
Because you're seeing the same Boracay sunset, the most important activity, and snorkeling in the same sea. Haha.
Korean agency hopping tours include snacks, you say? The beer isn't San Miguel, it's cheap stuff, the ramen isn't Shin Ramyun, and the fruits and snacks are just…not worth the price, honestly!
Also, I tried a Korean agency tour, and on top of the tour fee, they charged separately for 'boatman helper manners tip + Crystal Cove entrance fee at 500 pesos per person.'
It's already expensive at $60 per person, but with those extra charges, it was just ridiculous.
We did the local hopping twice.
It was the same company, once we booked through Klook and another time the next day because we wanted to snorkel again. We haggled with a boatman in front of Station 1. (Turns out it was the same company, haha.)
It was 845 pesos on Klook, and we got it for 700 pesos after haggling.
We met in front of Astoria in Station 1, White Beach, and boarded a boat with a pink Kitty cat painted on it.
The yacht wasn't fancy, it was a bit worn down, but hahaha.
There's also a guy who plays the guitar, and they have paddle boats and life jackets.
I experienced the joy of snorkeling for the first time here.
Wow, it was so fun!!!!!!!!
Why are the coral reefs so beautiful?
Why are the fluorescent blue fish so pretty?ㅜㅜ
How can there be such a colorful world of fish?
It's amazing and beautiful, I just love it.
Initially, I didn't want to do it (I had a bad memory of snorkeling in Boracay with Sung2, where my ears hurt and water went up my nose), but when I just dove into the water and wouldn't come out, my boyfriend was even happier haha.
See, I told you it's fun 😁
Local Hopping Tour Inclusions
Snorkeling
It felt like we spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes snorkeling. During this time, you can also eat snacks you brought or try kayaking!
I enjoyed snorkeling.
I didn't know I could hold my breath this well haha. It was so fun.
Hahaha, I just wouldn't come out of the water.
If you get tired of snorkeling, you can also try kayaking or paddleboarding, but I almost drifted away when I tried itㅠㅠ.
I would have disappeared into the sea if my boyfriend wasn't there.
Sunset
The sunset is truly beautiful in Boracay.
Watching the sunset from the deck of the boat after snorkeling was beautiful.
It was so beautiful that we kissed haha.
It wasn't the purple and pink colors of Boracay during the rainy season, but
It was beautiful enough to make me space out, and we headed back to the station!
We did it twice, but once the sunset wasn't visible, so we couldn't see it.
We laid down on the way back haha.
Haha, we were like total slackers. I want to live this kind of life.
Happy and blissful.
This is why you travel.

Honest Comparison with Korean Agency Hopping Tours
I'm including this for comparison.
I don't recommend this one.
I think the local hopping tour, which costs around 10,000 won per person, is much better.
This is just my personal opinion!
You might think that it's safer to go with Korean agencies.
You might think that better facilities are better.
Well...it's a matter of personal preference, but honestly, since hopping is all about snorkeling and being out at sea, the core purpose is
Just remember that you're experiencing the same sea and scenery~!
I want to go back again when I look at these photos.
For reference,
This one included a trip to Crystal Cove and provided mango and watermelon snacks.
Ramen
Snacks
Beer and rum were also included.
The difference was the white slide,
and the boat was also white~
But the snorkeling and other activities available at sea are the same.
